This is a cute bag! It holds a coin purse, comb, phone, and several other small items easily. I like the divider that creates two compartments inside. I also love the colors and embroidery, and the nice extra work on the strap (usually wristlet straps are so plain.) It's a great little purse. And surprisingly fast ship. Recommended seller!

Loddelina is a one - woman - brand of handbags and purses for every occasion
My favourite materials are upholstery fabrics and faux leather that I decorate myself with embroidery and applique
Every project starts with a fabric sketch, I lay out some materials and start matching colours and textures
One of my favourite items is tiny house brooch and I love crocheting little flowers to decorate my bags with
I collect buttons and trims, old ties and all sort of scraps that can be reused

It all started in 2001, a few years after I graduated from fashion and textile design at University of Ljubljana.
It suddenly occured to me that the most common item in my closet were not shoes like in so many women's wardrobes, but handbags!
Somehow I have managed to bring home a handbag, purse or a tote from every holiday and trip I took. It was time to start making bags myself...

I prefer using single colour fabrics of different structure and feel so I can decorate them myself - with beads, lace, applique or freefoot embroidery, not appearing randomly but following the shape of the bag.
I love fabrics and will also use printed designs when I can complement them with my own hand work. I have recently started adding some small home decor items to my shop, like little fabric house brooches and ornaments.

Born in Ljubljana, Slovenia, I graduated from textile and fashion design and worked as a fashion journalist for many years while designing bags and other accessories at home. Since 2009 I've been living in France with my husband and two children.

:: Each Loddelina bag, purse, tote or pouch is designed by me from the moment I draw my pattern on the paper to the last stitches of hand-made embroidery and sewing on the beads, ribbons and appliques.

Shipping

:: due tu current Covid-19 pandemic shipping can sometimes take longer than expected, thank you for your patience.

:: To keep the shipping cost as low as possible I ship all my items in padded envelopes via La Poste France priority airmail
- that means that upon arrival the fabric bags might require some light ironing and the faux leather ones need to be left out stretched at the room temperature, stuffed with some newspaper, to regain their shape.
